I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (East Kilbride, Scotland) in Jun 2019
Interview
Completed an online questionnaire. Was successful at that so had the group interview and was successful at that. Then a one to one assessment which I passed and should really be the final stage when they offer you the job. But they had accepted more people than jobs available which was explained to me at the store experience. I was told the Area Manager had gone on holiday for 2 weeks leaving all the candidates sitting on their hands waiting to hear back which I and other candidates at the store experience was ridiculous and showed very little respect for potential future employees.
Finally heard back after over a month since the beginning of the process and was unsuccessful.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ALDI in Dec 2017
Interview
3-5 parts. Went to "job fair" and filled out paper app and briefly spoke with district manager. Interview with district manager, a separate one + tour with store manager, and the final offer conditional on drug test plus some paperwork.
Easy and straight forward. Just be your self and show that you are willing to work hard. Also, try to be authentic in the response. Show them that you are a good candidate because you work hard.
