I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2011
Interview
After filling out the online application form ( which consists of the following questions: about yourself and your extracurricular acitivities, why do you wantto work for Deloitte, what do you think an analyst is doing in his first year and how do you think can technology help a client), I was invited to an interview in the London Office. You can book a slot yourself, which is very convenient. the interview was with one person, a first-year analyst (so not a senior at all), who made some small talk before getting to business. the first few questions are all about why you want to work for deloitte, what you know about their competitors and why you want to work in consulting. the second part of questions are competency-based: Initiative, Doing more than expected, building relationships and teamwork. In the last 10 minutes I was given a mini-case:
A supermarket chain has problems with supply management and often lacks stock. customers are disgruntled and unhappy. What to do? I wasn't allowed to take notes and had to answer questions, e.g. what are the main problems affecting the company? What can be done about them. So pretty basic, but not a typical case interview that you'll find on the web. I expect this would be used in the second round of interviews.
So to sum up:

Behavioral Interview where the same questions were asked over all three interviews. The first is a screening interview, the second is a skills assessment if you are experienced, and the third is a check to see if you are social inept.
