Accenture Front End Developer interview questions

I applied through their site and got a call back from a recruiter. We talked about the usual stuff like skills, perks and salary. After that, they immediately set up a face to face interview (Wednesday) , the interview went well that the recruiter called me back as soon as the interview finished to tell me that the people who interviewed me were impressed and already keen on getting me in. And the recruiter mentioned that he will give me the offer letter after the weekend. I had a few more questions about the role and the company so I had another call with the recruiter and after that he reassured me that I would be getting the offer letter later that day(Monday) or latest the next day.. however days have gone by and I received nothing so I emailed the recruiter asking if everything is okay and I got no response back, I also tried calling him but it seemed like they blocked my number. I just don't understand what happened. If they found a better candidate, the least they could've done was to let me know. But I was left hanging. I was really disappointed that a recruiter from the company itself could do that.
