I interviewed at Accenture (Washington, DC) in Jul 2012
Interview
First a phone interview then an aptitude test. After that it was onto their hiring day with a group of about 10 others. They told us more about the company and the position for an hour and took us in for two separate 1 on 1 interviews. One was "hr" and the other was "technical" but they overlapped and had many of the same questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
questions:
tell me about yourself
strengths/weaknesses
explain a past project (high level)
tell me about a problem you faced in that project and how did you overcome it
what is encapsulation. what is polymorphism.
relationship between object and class.
a few more object oriented questions.
After assessment, Interview is Initial screening only, nothing technical. Consists of common questions so you should practice. I think most candidates get the job. Overall a good experience and would recommend to others.
Had long aptitude rounds followed by 3 coding questions. All were pretty easy. Followed by a 10 minute interview held online, not technical, just asked personal questions. The coding questions had web design (HTML & CSS), basic DSA (python, C# or java)
Initial aptitude round will be there, once after clearing that round we will be moved to next technical round where we have to introduce ourselves
About my project in engineering ,asked to describe it and my role in that
Communication skills were checked
