I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Accenture (New York, NY) in Jan 2014
Interview
3 phone rounds - hr, techie, situational...last one was tricky...last thing was in person with MD. it was slight technical, but mostly sell n' close. Overall impressed by senior folks...strong brand and very organized...you will immediately feel that accenture is a very very big organization. HR processes and onboarding are very well defined.
