Interview:
I got the interview invitation for IT strategy team through a referral. Interview was scheduled very quickly but until the last round I wasn't told whether I am being considered for Consultant or Manager role.
First round was behavioral, a senior manager asked questions about my experience and how would react in some situations. I learnt about the second round on the same day and 2nd round was set up immediately.
2nd round was a case study, taken by a manager. A lot of printed information was provided and couple of objectives were given. Focus of the interview was to extract the most relevant information and come up with a strategy for the company. It was a case on company's strategy in context of industry going through change. Again, I was told about results same day and last round was scheduled in 2 days.
Final round was with a MD/Leadership/Partner. Very straightforward - regarding aspirations, experience, family and a lot about Accenture. Only in this interview, it was discussed that I would join as Manager. It seems Accenture gauges ones' level through interviews and tries to place people accordingly.
I was given offer letter within 2 hours.
Negotiation: Yes, but only to a certain extent.

Very straightforward interview process. There were three interviews with area managers and one HR interview. Excellent communication and status updates throughout. I felt they really cared about me as a person and they really wanted me to join the company. I also liked the technology aspects of the interview as I did one video interview where it was great to talk "in person."

Interview
I am currently a manager but the interviewer insisted that I should be OK with Analyst level position. The interviewer asked my CTC and when I told her, she didn't believe. She opened some report at her laptop and said that my company doesn't pay that much. Totally unprofessional act to doubt a candidate on salary matters. I didn't expect Accenture to have such a person interviewing candidates.
