I come from an SAP ABAP background and I had applied for the position of an SAP ABAP consultant at Accenture.
I was asked to come down to the Accenture office at around 5pm. After filling up the interview form which detailed all my personal particulars, past experiences and references, I was asked to take up a small objective test consisting of some 15 questions relating to SAP general, ABAP and SAP Basis.
The interview was mosting a casual talk which started off with the various things that I do in my current project. Some technical questions were asked on SAP and ABAP. Some real time scenarios/issues that clients face were presented and I was asked about how I would respond to them.
About a week later, there was an interview with another person who is supposed to be holding a very senior position in the organization. This was again a casual chat with topics like why you like to work for Accenture? What are your long term plans about staying in Singapore? any plans to take Singapore PR? planning to get settled in Sinagpore? What are the expectations out of Singapore?
2 days later, the HR contacted with the offer and asking me my confirmation. There was not much scope for a face to afce talk with the HR to negotiate. This is I would say one bad experience that I had thoughout the interview process. Less room to negotiate.
