I applied online. I interviewed at Agoda (Bangkok) in Oct 2020
Interview
The interview process was well structured. However, I was told that I passed the next stage.
There was a short interview to prepare candidates for the next round. Then the invitation of the next round never came and I have to send emails to follow up to find out that they went on with other candidate

Question 1
It was not a question. It was a prep session for next stage
There wasn't much respect from the interviewers and they also didn't feel friendly.
As for the content of the interview - it was much more like a school exam than an interview.
I was shocked as I haven't seen an interview like this anywhere else and I really thought that a company like Agoda would know better.
They were asking me ridiculously theoretical questions, stuff like "what does this acronym stand for".
I have solid experience in my field and role, yet I've never needed to know any of those.
I did well on the coding part of the interview, yet was rejected because I didn't answer these theoretical questions.
Kinda tells you what the engineering at Agoda must be like.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Agoda in Sep 2021
Interview
3 Stages, HR interview, Immediate manager, Upper management.
Whole process was fast and decisive. A bit of a time lag between 2nd and 3rd interview.
Interview with upper management was a case-study style interview. I would describe it as relatively challenging.
