I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2021
Interview
The process was disjointed, with the role and comp changing the evening before my loop.
I was dissapointed by the lack of interest in the interviewers, I found the mentoring * to be awkward (with 2 folks on call and lack of clarity on who I should address) . In the end I was overqualified for the job but it was not offered to me. I’ve worked there before and was always open to returning until this awful experience.
Phone interview with recruiter, one on one with sales manager, then 4-loop. All questions based on Amazon’s core principles such as customer obsession, etc. They also want to hear how you learned from mistakes you’ve made.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2021
Interview
8 steps including written, and other tests. Very impersonal. The whole time interviewers were typing vs having a natural conversation. The process was very cold. Some of the interviews were nice and others seemed very impressed with themselves.

Question 1
More a test to see if you knew their leadership principles and can work them into your answers vs. getting to know you/your background and fit for the job.
