I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon in Mar 2021
Interview
Usually first step is a call with recruiter but they wanted to expedite the interview process do they directly conducted a technical and behavioral round together. 5 SQL and 2 Python questions on their 'LiveCode'. The interviewer held on to a specific experience and kept revolving around it. Now, All the LPs would not apply to all of your projects, obviously. But in my case, I guess the interviewer assumed that and I didn't go to another round. I wouldn't apply again to Amazon. They expedite the process and only on person gets to judge you.

I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview felt like it should have been for a data engineering role, not a BIE role. I know theres obvious overlap, but every question was focused on data modeling / data engineering concepts when I was told to expect case studies, analytics, or SQL/python coding questions. There was one very simple SQL question and no python question.
