I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
awesome interviewer and their questions method
Very straightforward. A recruiter contacted me and explained the entire process upfront. My first interview was with the hiring manager (not a recruiter). There was a big emphasis on Amazon core values, even though it was for Goodreads specifically. I made sure that each of my answers correlated with a core value. Within two days, I was informed that I was not selected for further interview rounds.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Barcelona) in Jun 2019
Interview
I was contacted by e-mail. They asked me to click a link that went to the tasks they had prepared for me. Basically they make you solve mostly reasoning and financial tasks, calculating mostly proportions, rates, analyzing mostly graphs and tables

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Luxemburgo) in Mar 2019
Interview
The interview started for the role of Business Intelligence Engineer which had
- 1 phone interview (behavioral)
- 1 technical round which required me to write SQL queries to answer their questions
- Finally, an onsite interview which consisted of a 1-1 interview with 5 interviewers which revolved around their leadership principles.
I didn't get the role because they didn't feel I am the right fit for the role but they marked me as Amazon fit and recommended me to 2 other teams with whom I underwent interviews with the hiring managers and was selected for both. I was then asked to choose one among them that I feel is good for me.
