I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Apr 2018
Interview
I applied online in January and was quickly sent a test/personality survey to take. It wasn't until early April that I received an email saying I was in the final round of interviews. Amazon emailed me to set up a time for Amazon Chime (their version of Skype) interviews. There was also a webinar the night before my interviews where you sign on to chime (they can't see you for the webinar) and you listen to an HR person talk about the job for an hour and then there's time to ask questions at the end. The Chime interviews were pretty simple, two interviews back to back (about 45 min each). Make sure you have lots of questions to ask them at the end. Then they tell you you'll hear back within 5 business days. I received a congratulations email on the 5th day.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Situation question where you and another manager each handle your employees differently. Who was right? How do you fix it from here?
If we asked your friends about your two biggest weaknesses what would they say? How can you relate that back to Amazon's leadership principles.
Star Method and Leadership Principles. Just study these from the materials they give you, and form a story for each principle, and when they ask questions, you can see which principle they are asking about.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a conflict or disagreement at work and how did you handle it?"
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
