I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Amazon (New York, NY) in May 2021
Interview
Phone interview with AWS; interviewer not friendly at all, came on the call and explained format. Format: they will talk about the position, ask you to talk about your experience, ask you questions, and then ten minutes for you to ask questions. Every single question was situational, and as much as I prepped for this (lots of sample questions online) none of the questions asked were the same as the ones I practiced and I wasn't even able to leverage any of the examples I had written down. If you're like me and you're not good at coming up with examples on the fly and able to articulate in the STAR format, you're pretty much done for. Honestly it was a disaster, and I literally laughed out loud at how bad it went after hanging up. I'm not sure what asking those types of questions proves, but don't even put yourself through it if you already know it's not one of your strengths! I received the rejection email next day😂
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Amazon analyst interviews usually have four stages: application, assessment, phone screen, and interview loop. For analyst roles, you should expect SQL, data analysis, business metrics, Excel, visualization tools and Amazon Leadership Principles to be tested heavily.
Grilled me on my previous work experience, have to answer using their leadership principles using scenarios and examples. Took my technical assessment too and finally panel round. I think it's too long for what it is
2 rounds of interviews and 1st stage was all about techincal and 2nd round was about the HR round. Then got HR call. Mostly techincal Skills related questions were asked
