I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (Winnipeg, MB) in Oct 2022
Interview
I failed on the first step which was an online interview, and I felt it was challenging, especially for the second part. For the first part, you only need to practice more algorithm questions before the interview. However, for the second part, you should have some high level thinking skills.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. 2 online coding questions to test your algorithm skills, whereas the first one was easy, and the second one was a little difficult. 2. 1 working style simulation test. The test will simulates your email client, and you'll receive different emails from different people and departments regarding several projects. It not only test your system design skills but also your time management skills and how you prioritize your tasks.
I received an Online Assessment (OA) invitation from Amazon. The assessment consisted of two coding questions of medium to hard difficulty, focusing on data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving skills. The questions required efficient solutions with optimized time and space complexity. After the OA, shortlisted candidates typically proceed to one or more technical interview rounds covering coding, system design, and behavioral questions based on Amazon's Leadership Principles.
Applied online via career site, received OA link within 2 days and cleared it, Round 1- DSA, Round-2 DSA, Round 3- System Design, Round 4- Mixed Technical Discussion and Behavioral.
