I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Went through a phone screen with a recruiter, then moved on to a technical phone interview. I requested ahead of time regarding what the format would be and what kind of questions I should prepare for, but I never got a response.
They essentially wanted me to prepare for every possible question topic, which I think is pretty unreasonable and unfair. Topics include: Html/CSS/Javascript (without frameworks), javascript with frameworks, JavaScript data structures and algorithms, System Design, and more algorithms. They also forced me to use JavaScript in a algorithm question, which is usually done in any language you are comfortable in.
I was set-up for failure, and it seems they do not care about their employees or their hiring process at all. I do appreciate them giving questions more closer to the work someone will do, but when all interviews these days are being conducted solely with algorithm questions, it is difficult to prepare such an entirely different format in conjunction with all your other interviews.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you went above and beyond your job.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon (Dublín, Dublín) in Feb 2020
Interview
First stage: Two hours of coding interview (algorithms), on a website
Second stage: One hour interview with two developers. Half an hour of behavioral and technical question, and the other half was about coding an algorithm.
Third stage: On-site interview but switched to online due to COVID-19. Took six hours with one hour break. The questions were not very difficult but it was compelling to perform well in everything. It included algorithms, practical coding and problem solving and whiteboard system design questions.
My performance wasn't bad but made important mistakes. Also, the suggestions in the previously sent interview sheet wasn't accurate. First two steps of the third stage focused on my knowledge with a framework whereas the information sheet advised me to focus only on fundamentals and data visualization. Surely, I should have performed well regardless and it's reasonable that I wasn't hired.
