I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (Provo, UT) in Feb 2017
Interview
30 minute phone interview turned shoot the breeze.
First interview of the day and interviewer had called on time, but was still settling down. He politely apologized and asked me to tell him about myself while he settled down (not an unusual question, be sure to answer about your qualifications to the role, not your personal life story). My overview apparently gave the look he wanted, because he cut the interview there, passed me to the next step, and we discussed about next steps. He did mention one of the technical questions usually discussed, but I didn't have to answer directly.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I had an initial phone screen with the recruiter where we discussed the role, associated expectations, and the managers long vision for the team (I was the second person hired to the team). We then had anSQL interview session, followed by questions about my projects. I interviewed for an L4 BA Role, with almost 1 year of work experience. On site I had a series of 5 interviews, each about 50 minutes. I answered questions on case studies, visualizations, and described situations where I displayed the leadership principles in my previous roles/projects.
