I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon in Feb 2017
Interview
The first round of interview involved a phone interview of 45 minutes. You will be asked few SQL questions and then few questions on your resume. Later they will move to some Business Analysis related questions like evaluating the risk of the project etc.

Question 1
Basic SQL questions involving joins, Aggregate functions and window functions
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Mar 2016
Interview
The process was straight forward. I applied online and heard back from a recruiter who set up a phone screen. The phone screen was basic competency and behavioral questions with 2 short business cases. I was then invited to do a final round consisting of 4 interviews.
Again, the questions were basic competency and behavioral questions. They questions which were heavily focused on your background and how it relates to Amazon's leadership principles. Some basic SQL and one business case.
I'm certain I wasn't hounded on the technical aspects of the job because I have a non-tech background. They must assume that since I was able to show competency in all other aspects that I could pick up the technical skills required for the job.
Overall, if you prepare for this interview like you would if you were interviewing at MBB then it's fairly easy.
Good luck!

Tell me about a time when....
How would you handle a situation if x happens...
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Praga) in Mar 2017
Interview
Shocking! On the official amazon career page it was mentioned Business-Analyst Full Time job, but only after three interview steps it turned out to be just an Internship. They also had courage to ask me if I was ok with quitting my former full-time job for an Internship. What a waste of time.
