Started with a recruiter contacting me for a role in amazon.
I was told that if i am interested, a online coding assignment would be given.This would take the place of a phone screen. It was a tree question and i was given 120 mins to finish it.
Ater that i was invited to seatle to attend onsite interview.
Onsite interview was four hours. Two coding interviews, one OOPS design and one System design interview.
Each interviewer spend at least 15 mins asking about scenarios from my experience where i had to display some of the amazon leadership principles. Fitting into culture is big aspect for amazon.

1. Contacted by hiring manager by phone to explore mutual interest. The manager spent about 30 minutes on phone describing AWS business unit, his organization and open role.
2. Online coding interview. Standard questions available on many coding interview preparation websites. Technical question is posed verbally by phone and clarifying the question is challenging in online format.
