I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Mar 2025
Interview
Received an OA, invited to a virtual full-loop interview (4 rounds, 50 mins each).
The experience was disappointing and unprofessional. Most of the interviewers came across as rude and unwelcoming. Two out of the four actually laughed at my explanations during the technical and behavioral discussions, which was shocking and disheartening. This is especially surprising given that I have 5 years of experience developing enterprise applications and have been through numerous interviews before.
I understand that interviews are meant to be challenging, but there’s a clear line between assessing a candidate’s skills and being disrespectful. The lack of professionalism from the interviewers has left me questioning the company’s culture and values.
I interviewed at Amazon (Jersey City, NJ) in Jun 2020
Interview
Exactly as it's described in the document that the recruiter gives you: 4 1-hour interviews: 3 coding, 1 system design. The document definitely gives way more information than you strictly need, but it's a good document for preparing for other interviews too.
