Amazon SDE-intern interview questions

After clearing the online assessment round, I was shortlisted for the interview process. The interview began with a brief introduction, followed by two data structures and algorithms questions. The difficulty level of both problems was medium to high, comparable to LeetCode’s mid to hard range. I was expected to not only provide optimal solutions but also explain my thought process, edge cases, and time and space complexity clearly. The interviewer evaluated my problem-solving approach, coding style, and how efficiently I could debug and optimize my code during the discussion.

The first round is an online assessment that includes 2 to 3 technical questions, followed by a few behavioral questions at the end. If you move on to the second round, it’s a 50-minute virtual interview. It starts with about 15 minutes of behavioral questions, then moves into 30 minutes of technical discussion, and ends with 5 minutes for you to ask any questions you might have.
