6 rounds of interviews. Whilst everything was virtual, it’s very time consuming, tiring and disheartening if you go through all that, to not get the role. All competency based stuff.
Applied online and recruiter reached out the next day. The recruiter gave me the timeline of the interview process which was a few weeks and with multiple rounds of interviews.
The recruiter then sent me a 2-3 hour long assessment to complete before we could move forward, which I felt seemed odd since ideally you would want to have that initial interview first with the hiring manager OR even the recruiter. The assessment was fine just very labor intensive.. took a few hours and had to submit audio responses. The recruiter then wanted to set up a call, however never followed up once I gave them my availability for the next few days.
I then was ghosted multiple times over the month until I received an update.
Overall, not a great process and a lack of communication from the recruiter. Very messy and not structured. Who sends an assessment before an actual call with the recruiter? I have questions as well before I decide I want to move forward.
As far as their marketing department and recruiters.. be wary!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They will give you a mock scenario and have you respond to different issues/processes.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon in Sep 2024
Interview
In-depth interview process, beginning with an online simulation and ending with a five-six round panel.
My experience was all conducted via email until I passed the phone screen with a marketing stakeholder. Then, progressed to a preparatory phone call with the recruiter, before entering the final round “Loop.”

They follow a “peculiar” line of questioning and expect you to follow the star format in crafting your response.
