Question 1
Tell me a time when you made a mistake and how did you learn from it?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2017
Interview
I was submitted through the employee referral program. A recruiter contacted me 3-4 weeks later to phone interview. The initial phone interview was followed up by two more phone interviews with a manager and peer recruiter.
The last interview was in Seattle with the same manager I had phone interviewed with, a Recruiting manager, and a "bar raiser" in a completely different role.
After a week they called me back letting me know they liked me but not for that position and to keep an eye out for further communication about another role that may be a better fit. It has been about a year now and no additional contact came following that presumably positive call.
