Contacted by a recruiter and sent an assessment. Completed assessment and recruiter advised I would be moved forward to schedule an interview with the hiring manager. Once the interview was scheduled the recruiter said I would receive prep materials and guidance from her, I never received prep materials despite reaching out multiple times before my scheduled interview. Interview with HM was actually a phone screen and it was clear that without the prep materials it would be difficult to be successful. Was told by HM I would hear back from recruiter in 2 business days regarding next steps- despite follow up again with the recruiter, I was completely ghosted.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
I was reached out to by a recruiter. After a quick phone screen, I was then given a 45-minute online assessment to complete before I could be considered (which I've already done in the past). Then upon reviewal of my assessment and resume, I met with the hiring manager for a one-hour phone screen. The hiring manager was still unsure of the position requirements, and while I thought the interview went well, I was notified the next day that I would not be moving forward in the process. This is now the third or fourth time I've interviewed at Amazon, and they do not provide feedback on their decision, so it seems to be a complete waste of time.
