First is online assessment with leetcode medium question + amazon work process simulation around system design. Second round was HR round which I passed as well. And it supposed to be on-site hiring event (loop interview) in Tokyo around September-October 2025, but suddenly process got frozen (I believe, because of layoffs started in Amazon later). And I was told maybe best case they will continue first quarter of 2026.

I was contacted by an Amazon recruiter. They sent me a link to get prepared for the first interview with a manager. About 10 days after I had an interview with a Software lead. She went through simple coding exercise that I did good. But I think she did not chose me as I was looking for a role on technical side and not managing people. She was very polite and nice and overall I had a good experince with them.
