Three online assessments consisting of a debugging section, a coding section, and a work simulation. The third section put you into a simulation where you got emails, chats, and problems from colleagues and supervisors asking you to make decisions given different circumstances.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do heaps work? What's the difference between BFS and DFS?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2021
Interview
2 stages of interview process
------------------------------------
3 tests:
1. 20 min, 7 DSA debugging questions. Very easy if you have programming experience
2. 60 mins (I think), 2 DSA questions. Some challenging possible questions
3. 2 hrs (I think) workday simulation. Put in various situations and have to choose from list of options.
Final Round Interview:
45 mins. Mine was 2 behavioral STAR questions, then straight into very long DSA question. My interviewer didn't really talk about himself nor give me time to answer questions at the end. Passed the interview but am currently waitlisted
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a situation where you had to make a difficult decision.
Two technical questions, one theoretical question about stacks and queues, and one 2D-Array problem that was probably LC Medium/Hard. Then two behavioral questions as well that were testing me against their leadership principles. Overall it was pretty difficult and not the best person to be interviewed by as well
