Phone technical interview. Talked through coding experiences. Discussed approach, how to map to an algorithm, analyzed the runtime of the program. Discussed how I could make it better, looked at runtime vs storage efficiency of alternate improvements and discussed scenarios where one would want to be used with interviewer.
was contacted on LinkedIn to give my information (cv etc) then had a phone call and a meeting (applicant day) to give a general overview of the process. Then an interview 20mins long competency based then straight after a technical interview. same day.
I applied through college or university. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Vancouver, BC)
Interview
1. Coding assessment: Two timed, medium-difficulty leetcode questions.
2. Online work style assessment: Simple behavioral simulation on how to respond to different situations in the workplace.
3. Virtual Loop Interview: Three back-to-back video conference interviews (one interviewer). One or two LP questions and a leetcode (one easy, one medium, one hard).
I received incorrect information about my application, had one of my loop interviews cancelled at the last minute and rescheduled for a week later, and received the incorrect offer document with a much higher salary than the one that was given to me as a "corrected" version.
