I used their interview prep course and went in with the mindset that it's a conversational, less formal interview. But it ended up being strict and no help given. For example, I told them I forgot a method command from maps, and they said they couldn't help me with that. This is contradicting to the prep course where they said the interviewer should be able to provide a hint.
Overall, I felt like Amazon wants candidates to succeed. They do a good job of matching you to the right interviewer. OA makes you think through the questions, it's not about whether you've seen the question before. Connecting with the interviewer was key for me. Fair process imo.
Process was OA, then 45 minute virtual final round interview.
