first interview is a basic phone call with recruiter where they explore simple employee behavioral fit and ask basic technical questions such as: "what linux command is used to search for someting"
2nd interview was with an SA manager. My problem with this interview process is that they give you a variety of technical topics to learn, and say that they may ask you a few questions from the topics they provide. Then in the actual interview they ask none of the questions they said they would. Instead they did a deep dive of the resume you provide and ask questions they feel like you will have trouble answering.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon in Mar 2020
Interview
First received email to schedule a time slot, then received a phone call for a 45 minute interview. I was asked about 7-8 questions. Two people were on the call, one person interviewed me the other person stoodby.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Amazon in Jan 2021
Interview
It was a phone interview that started off with 5-minute introduction. The interviewer mixed technical and behavioral questions.
I did not get an offer but the whole (learning and interview) experience was great. It was my first interview after a long long time. I have learned a lot while preparing for the interviews.
