Interview
The initial phone screens were more to get to know my experience and skill set. They did ask some basic Java, DB, problem solving skills. After 2 rounds of phone screen, they asked me to visit their office in the city. The 1st person tested data stuctures, dynamic programming, complexity analysis etc. The 2nd interviewer asked me to explain how internet works and how http works and how to improve the performance of a web site. 3rd one also carried coding and technical design exercises. The next day recruiter called me and informed that they are not moving forward

The interviewer was good techincally nad was more concentrating on the alogorithms, I applied for a java position, but the whole interview was on the sort and search algorithms. Questions like how t use merge sort, bubble sort, what algorythms used to apply on etc... and there were few questions on runtime complexitiy....

Interview
A friend of mine that started working at Amazon submitted my resume with my consent. The 1st interview was solving some coding puzzles over the phone and some questions on time complexity. I will have my 2nd interview tomorrow which will be a real-time development exercise with a focus on coding. The interviewer was very nice and fully understood trying to perform under these circumstances.
