The first conversation was a brief one with the HR where he asked me about my current work and the pay.
The telephonic was set for a few days later. As was intimated, the conversation was around a project I had worked on, and some Amazon value related questions. It went well.
The next round was on campus. The first round on campus was a portfolio review one where I presented my past projects to 3-4 designers. They asked questions, and asked me more about the choices I had made, and why.
There were four more rounds after that. The second round and third round were again behavioral questions around my past work and how well I am aligned to the values of Amazon. It really was good. The fourth round was an open problem to solve with the Hiring Manager, and the last round was a behavioral one again.
They said they'll get back a few days after that. They did not, and when I tried to find out, was told that they had decided to not proceed. They did give some feedback though. Overall, I really liked the interview process even though it did not work out.
