I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services in Sep 2025
Interview
Recruiter call, Online Assessment, Phone Screen with team member, Phone call with recruiter to discuss LPs and compensation, then (5) 60-min interviews, the Loop all in one day. The process is intense, especially preparing for the Loop. I thought it had gone well and feedback (though not formal) was positive, but did not receive an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All behavioral based questions pulling from Leadership Principles. Review them and have multiple stories for each.
I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
Long and lengthy but if you prepare yourself with their STAR method and come with factual data points you will succeed. The interviewers during the Loop process are looking to capture data points rather than be "chummy" during the interview. They are almost being graded as much as you are
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when you went above and beyond for a customer. Why did you do it? How did the customer respond? What was the outcome?
Describe a situation where you made an important business decision without consulting your manager. What was the situation and how did it turn out? Would you have done anything differently?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Austin, TX)
Interview
Call with recruiter, call with hiring manager, then the "Loop". The first two are more causual and the loop is very tough. 5-6 one hour interviews back to back answering behavioral and situational questions in STAR format. I'm not opposed to having to do this to get into the company but when you apply to any other role in the company even if it's the same role just a different team, you have to go through another loop which I don't think is productive.
