Amazon Web Services interview questions

An internal recruiter from Amazon reached out to me on LinkedIn. After an HR round I was schedule a Chime interview with an engineer. Very thorough - a long list of technical questions with a coding puzzle. Then I was scheduled a full day of interviews i.e. a loop. The loop was 80% behavioral with very similar questions repeated by different interviewers. To describe in one word - robotic. Like being interviewed by Alexa. They are trying to probe deep to assess a candidate personality and level. The technical round was very interesting. I was asked to take part in a role play - design a DevOps pipeline with interviewer pretending being a customer. It was supposed to take 2 months but since I had an offer on my desk Amazon was able to expedite the process. I was impressed that they were able to respond to my situation and move quickly.
