American Express Director interview questions

Initial interview with HR asking about interest and qualifications for job. Reviewed my prior experience, salary expectations and job knowledge. HR Manager explained the interview process and to expect a minimum of five interviews including the initial interview. Interviews would include this one, Hiring manager, panel of 3 directors at Amex, team interview and final interview with hiring manager.

Contacted by HR Staffing representative. Brief introduction and asked about qualifications, interest in the role and request for salary expectations. Never heard back as I believe my salary request was too high.
