Interview
Got a Call from Consultancy saying that BA Continuum have open positions for Experienced C++ Professionals who are open to working on Python. Accordingly my Interview was scheduled on Saturday 24th August 2019.
On reaching their Malad(West) Paradigm-A office at 11:00 a.m, I realized that it was a Mass Recruitment Drive with close to 100 people having different skillsets, literally waiting for their turn in the Cafeteria.
After 4 reminders to the concerned people who had collected my Resume at the Reception, I got a call from the Panel at around 3:30 p.m post waiting for more than 4 hours.
Once the Interview started I realized that the Panel did not have any Experience in C++ since she was specifically asking Questions on Oracle 11g and PL/SQL only.
The panelist showed utter disregard to my experience in OOPS, Design Patterns, Data Structures and Algorithms, by NOT asking even a single Question on these topics.
I still tried to answer DB Questions to the best of my ability since Oracle 11g and PL/SQL happen to be my Secondary skill set.
But my Interview was abruptly terminated by the Panelist in just 7 minutes, while I was in the middle of answering a Question on Explicit Cursors and was told to leave for the Day without any courtesy.
I had exactly the same experience during the Bank of America Recruitment Drive which was conducted at their Prism Tower Office in Malad(West) on 2nd February 2019.
At that time as well, I had waited for close to 6 hours for my turn, and when I was interviewed at 5:30 p.m, I was asked all sorts of Random Questions not related to my core skill set.
In February, I had got the impression that may be they had already found a candidate, so they were just completing formalities by interviewing me.
But when the same thing got repeated this Saturday on 24th August 2019, I got convinced that they do not even have a Panelist for interviewing C++ candidates. The entire purpose of calling C++ candidates is a farce and formality.

Interview
Excellent interviewer. Hard hitting questions after passing through digital screening to a face to face virtual interview. The interviewer directly referenced points on my resume to understand my educational and work background intimately.
