I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bank of America (City of London, England) in Jan 2010
Interview
All interviews at Bank of America Merrill Lynch have a similar form - you apply on-line and get called in to the assessment center. There was a semi-technical problem which we had to solve and later present 1:1 to a senior bank employee. Apart from that a group exercise - a problem for the group and we had to reach an outcome. Moreover, there was this special "trader-like" test - done only at BAML and I think it's propertiary.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
We had a problem of updating a trading system and a few choices we could work on.
The interview was with two people at the same time. There was only one round and the interview lasted an hour. No technical questions, everything was behavioral. Overall a good experience.
Application, followed by hirevue and interviews by analysts. Standard interview questions provided during the interview, such as introducing yourself, strengths and weakness, and technical questions on financial accounting. Overall pleasant interview.

Introduce yourself, accounting questions that are standard
Very easy process and recruiter were super nice. I did it through a program so I think most of us got an offer though. I would recommend to anyone out of college just make sure you use the STAR method.
