      Analtyical Chemist Interview

      Feb 3, 2011
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Baxter in Nov 2010

      Interview

Initially, the interview was set up by a third party contractor. I was previously informed that they were very selective and tough on previous candidates. I interviewed by phone and I thought that was the end of things. However, I was called a couple of weeks later and asked to come interview in person. Unfortunately, I was not hired and they claimed my interview did not reflect well on my skill set. This was after the hiring manager had told me that I had answered all his questions well.

      Question 1

They showed me a chromatograph and asked me to tell them what did I see! I asked what exactly they were looking for and they did not clarify.
