I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BlackRock (Edimburgo, Escocia) in Aug 2021
Interview
I had 4 interviews/meetings spread out over about 6 weeks. Everyone seemed really nice but the whole process was far too dragged out. Some of the interviews was a massive download of information to me with not much chance for me to interact which meant it was hard to establish a connection. The questions were really vague and it was hard to understand what they were looking for. It doesn't help that after the first meeting they changed the job scope and I was not sent a new job description (even though I did ask for one) so I was working off of incorrect information.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BlackRock in Mar 2021
Interview
I was invited to apply for the role online by a recruiter from Blackrock. About 2 weeks later I was informed that I would have an interview, and was asked to complete a pre-interview questionnaire. A few weeks after this, I was given the date for my interview, which took place a few days later. The interview consisted of a 45 minute interview with 2 directors, immediately followed by a 45 minute interview with a managing director. Almost a month and a half later, I was informed via a generic email that I had not been successful at interview. Overall, I found the process to be rather impersonal. Apart from the actual interviews, all correspondence was conducted over email, and a request to talk more about the role was completely ignored by recruitment. It would have also been appreciated if the interview feedback was more constructive.
