I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BlackRock (New York, NY) in Dec 2016
Interview
Had a recorded interview where you talk to the camera - 3 questions such as why Blackrock and why your major. Heard back almost 3 weeks later about the phone interview. It lasted 20 mins and mainly went over my resume. Asked about any conflicts I faced and why I was interested in finance. Heard back a week later about superday this week..
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why are you interested in finance?
Describe conflict you faced
Interview went well, just a bunch of behavioral questions and asked to walk through some hypothetical scenarios of helping a client. I interviewed a few days ago and he said I would be hearing back soon, but have heard nothing yet. How long does it usually take to hear back?

Why Blackrock? Tell me about a time you had to explain a complex concept in simple terms to a customer.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at BlackRock in Mar 2022
Interview
Had first interview 2 months ago and there was no follow up from the recruiter, even when I have sent an email asking to follow up. Not even sure if I was even rejected, could have sent me an email if so and I would gracefully accept the rejection.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BlackRock (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2022
Interview
Started with hireview style interview questions, followed by round 1 interviews, round 2 interviews + numerical ability test and then final round interviews.
It was professional but still slightly informal though that may have been due to covid times.
