I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at BlackRock (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Initial communication was great, HR was very friendly and easy to work with. I had a screening interview over the phone and then went on to interview for a couple positions. There was a lot of energy and the people seemed friendly and motivated with very high standards, which was all great.

Question 1
Hard to say... after establishing that I had no financial background or any knowledge of investments whatsoever and that I was open and eager to learn, I was asked if I did research into what their particular department did and was encouraged to discuss it with the hiring managers.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at BlackRock (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2025
Interview
Quick and smooth proccess, very conversational. I mentioned buzzwords like and how I love their 5 principles plus I specified which one really resonated with me. Brag on the company and yourself. Interviewed within a week of the recruiter contacting me then they set up the second/last interview on spot. Very quick process

Why Blackrock?
How do you organize and prioritize projects?
Tell me about a time when you successfully managed a number of tasks at the same time.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BlackRock (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview process started off well. I was contacted by a recruiter, completed a phone screen, and advanced to an interview with someone from the team. Everyone I spoke with was professional and respectful, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the company and the role.
Unfortunately, after the interview, I didn’t receive any follow-up or decision—even after polite check-ins.
I later saw the position reposted without any communication, which was disappointing after investing time and preparation.
I believe in closing the loop with candidates, even if the outcome isn’t favorable—it reflects well on the company and respects the candidate’s effort.
Hopefully, BlackRock will strengthen this part of their process in the future.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at BlackRock (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
Interview process went really smoothly, only had one interview and was more of a conversational interview which was great. Got an offer within 3 hours of the interview, which I accepted.
