I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Boeing (Tinker AFB, OK) in Sep 2012
Interview
I was asked to fill out a detailed online application, then was contacted for a phone interview. Spoke with three people at Tinker AFB who asked me the usual nonsense about diversity, team work, etc. They never seemed interested in my technical ability or education, which is pretty sad since they're an airplane company. The only technical question they asked was about which CAD programs I know how to use.

Interview
I applied online and received a phone call from a company recruiter to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was a conference call with four panelists - someone from HR, the person currently in the position, a team member, and the manager. The panelists took turns asking behavioral and technical questions. The interview took approximately 30 minutes.

Question 1
Describe a time when you had to work with someone from a different background than yourself.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing (El Segundo, CA) in Apr 2013
Interview
The interview was a first-round interview for a Manufacturing Engineer position for Boeing Space Systems in Los Angeles, CA.
It was a typical STAR interview: behavioral questions, questions on work conflict/resolution, and work ethics. Conducted by 2 senior engineers and lasted roughly 40 minutes. They then asked me about my skills, educational background, and relevant project experience.
The interview was very stiff and formal; I could tell that they were trying not to "get to know me", even though one of the interviewers (a senior engineer) was very friendly and chatty in a 1:1 environment.
