I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Boeing (Neu-Isenburg) in May 2022
Interview
I was approached through a recruiting company. The recruiters were very professional and transparent, and one of the best recruiting experiences for me so far. I can't say the same for Boeing though, where I was in the interview process for months and things were very slow. I had to share a lot of data with them beforehand and they were very thorough with reviewing references and certificates. In the first interview I was asked questions around research and specific UX topics, in the second interview (in person) I was asked softskill questions, which I found quite difficult as there are no clear right or wrong answers. They made me jump between English and German in the interview, which I don't generally have a problem with but I still felt stressed out by all the requirements and difficult questions. My hiring manager was nice enough but kept telling me the same anecdotes multiple times which I found a bit inconsiderate, also he openly downplayed climate change in the in-person interview ("It's not like anyone will die from climate change").

Question 1
An example question regarding softskills was: "Tell us about a situation where you received negative feedback. What did you learn and what would you do differently today?"
