Question 1
Nothing out of the ordinary. I was asked questions about school and previous work experiences.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CGI (Troy, AL) in Nov 2012
Interview
Met at school career fair, applied online. I was then contacted by recruiter and we set up a phone interview. I would consider the phone interview easy, just ask basic questions about relocation, travel, etc. asked about how I contribute, programming background etc. I was then invited to the onsite interview. It was a series of 3 interviews (business, techincal, functional) with different managers to see which team they might place or project. For the first interview, I was asked alot more about product lifecycle, the second was more about programming, and I havent programmed in 6 months (Computer Engineer Major), I was a bit rusty, but no worries they just want to check your thinking. The last just basic functional grunt work. When they ask if you have any questions, ASK!!! Ask about their background, show interest; sell yourself, your life expirences.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CGI (Herndon, VA) in Oct 2012
Interview
Applied online through my college network and got into an on-campus interview. The interviewer was an alumni and we talked about classes. It consisted of a half hour of mostly behavioral questions.
Then moved up to the onsite interview in Herndon. They showed us around the building and got about 6-7 consultants for us to ask anything. Then it came down to two 40 minute interviews. Once again they were mostly behavioral questions. Very friendly people.
Heard back from them the following week with an offer.
