I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Capgemini (Chennai) in Jun 2011
Interview
I opted for the interview as soon as I got an email for the position opening by Capgemini Recruiter.
It was to be a telephonic interview. 1st round was taken by Capgemini for a technical round. After clearing this, asked for some more information and some current company's documents. Then they arranged for a client interview which was also some sort of technical interview. After clearing that too, I was asked to appear in a Capgemini office in kolkata for physical verification and their they conducted another technical discussion over phone. Thereafter I received the final offer letter in my email. That was the whole process.
