I applied online for the job. I was contacted by someone from the HR office to set up an initial phone interview with her. Once I passed that round, I was asked to take three tests- reading, math and personality. None were particularly difficult, but I had never been asked by a potential employer to take tests before, so the experience was quite new to me. After I took the tests, I got a call from my HR contact to tell me I had passed them and would continue to the next round. That was supposed to be a phone interview, followed by in-person interviews (if the phone interview went well). Unfortunately, the HR contact got in touch with me a couple of days later and said they had already extended an offer to someone who had interviewed earlier than me, so I would not be able to continue in the interview process.
