The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Richmond, VA) in May 2011
Interview
I applied online, and was sent a couple timed tests to complete online. I passed those and was invited to the final round interview in Richmond.
The day consisted of two case study interviews, and one behavorial interview. I had a case on a ferry boat, and a case involving the credit card business. My advice would be to just relax (if possible) during the case studies. I unfortunately tried to study particular formulas the night before that I may need to do the cases. If I would have just used my normal math intuition, I believe I would have aced the interviews. Instead, I figured I would need to use complicated formulas, and I tried to do so, and they were wrong.
My advice for the case interviews is to make sure you know how to do a break-even, and be able to solve for different variables. Do not waste your time trying to study/use complicated business formulas like I did.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
ferry boat case-one of the questions asks how many ferry boat trips would there be between 7-9 AM if a ferry needs to be leaving the dock every 20 minutes, and has a 20 minute turn around time
1 online assessment followed by Power Day with 1 product and 2 cases. Power Day was quite tricky with concepts being combined and tested in different forms. Staying calm and taking in every word is crucial in keeping up with the casing.

The interviewer was friendly he asked me Quantitative questions on a streaming platform, too much math involved. I did not reach the answer though the interviewer tried to help so got the rejection.

I thought I did really well, but they emailed me back in a few hours, rejecting me. This was for the online test before the power day, and they didn't even give me a score.
