I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Capital One in Aug 2021
Interview
I have applied through a referral and recruiter reached out to me immediately. I had a phone screening with the recruiter asking about my experience, salary and visa status. Got schedule for the first round- case interview

Question 1
The company manufactures 3D Printers. Who should they target selling it to and which one will be more profitable? End customers directly or through retailers?
Interviewer asked me to plot graph to show the volume of sales with respect to time for each scenario. Asked to calculate the profit in 2years giving fixed cost 6.6m, over head costs 2.4m/yearly, cost of the item=$250 price of the item sold=$500 and no of units= 2000/monthly.
Altered the numbers: when 25% of printers breakdown and cost of repairing each one is 200$. What are the additional printers to be sold to make the profit in 1 year?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capital One in Jul 2021
Interview
1st call phone screening moved on to the next
2nd small case interview simple break-even analysis
3rd (power day) 2 cases 1 product case then had a 4th case
The interview was extremely difficult and long for no reason. Feel like the interviewer has specific words he is looking for and if your answer isn't exactly that you get dinged even if you have the right answer.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in May 2019
Interview
Basic Algebra combined with logical reasoning. The graphs and charts they use during interviews seem like the ones GMAT uses on Integrated Reasoning Section. The case interview prep material they send is very helpful in terms of structure one needs to employ but worthless in terms of representing the degree of difficulty in the actual interview
