I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Capital One in Jul 2024
Interview
The interview process took forever. I started off with a screening phonecall, then a virtual case 3 weeks later, followed by a virtual power day 3 weeks after that.
The virtual case was a simple business case. The Power Day consisted of two hour-long business cases and two hour-long product-specific sessions. While they aim to standardize the interview process, two of my interviewers were completely unengaged and one was even on his phone during the interview lol
They also have a no feedback policy so after all the time and effort you put into this process, don't expect to get any.

Why do you want to work in Product at Capital One?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
The interview process was around 4 steps: a recruiter call, a hiring manager call, a mini-case and then a power day. Overall not bad but definitely prep consulting style cases for power day. Not the most communicative, no feedback provided.
I typically don't post interview experiences, but I had to share this one... Firstly, the recruiter call was amazing. Absolutely loved him! The hiring manager call-- TERRIBLE. To the other reviews here that say the hiring manager sounds absolutely disinterested-- that was my exact experience. His tone was very condescending. He asked ridiculous questions about whether I was Jira certified. Are you looking for a Scrum master or product manager, sir?
