Project Manager applicants have rated the interview process at Capital One with 4 out of 5 (where 5 is the highest level of difficulty) and assessed their interview experience as 100% positive. To compare, the company-average is 52.2% positive. This is according to Glassdoor user ratings.
Here are the most commonly searched roles for interview reports -
recruiter screening and then a case study that is pretty standard and not too hard, and then a 4 panel interview. The 4 panel interview is hard. The math questions are not what they share in the packet with you and are more advanced. The main thing really is the person interviewing you, after reading all the other interview feedbacks on glassdoor, it appears there is this same one person who is completely out of touch with empathy and could be a big barrier for you landing the job due to her personality, mood, and lack of judgement. Overall, prepare a lot. I did want to work here and was fully prepared but some things are out of your hand.

Question 1
Calculate the possible breakeven if all these new factors are now added into the equation.
Product discovery interview involves thinking like a CEO and thinking through user problem. Identify problem, identify solutions, identify go-to-market and potential risks. This also involves storyboarding, MVP design, and KPIs.
The recruiter called me, and I asked what the hiring process is. He said 3 rounds of interviews, a mini case study, another case study, and a Power Day ( 7 hours of interviews with different people and different case studies). He said that it takes 10 days for candidates to prepare.
10 Days! I declined to interview. After 3 weeks I received an automated email saying that "due to changing business needs, we are unable to fill the role at this time". Just like that.
I am so thankful that I declined this ridiculous recruiting process. Imagine putting in 100 hours to prepare and getting an automated message like that?
