I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Capital One (McLean, VA) in Jan 2019
Interview
I applied online and got an email about 2 months later about flying in for an interview. I could choose between Richmond, VA, McLean, VA, and Plano, TX for interviews and the dates that worked for me put me in McLean.
When I went, they started off by having us have lunch with 3 current TDPs in their cafeteria, and then we got a tour of the building. The McLean building was super nice there was a full gym inside and a cafeteria and floor to ceiling windows and it was just beautiful.
We then got assigned our own rooms to interview in, so two men came in for my first interview which was the case. I was the most scared for this one but the interviewer sort of guided me through it pretty well so I didn't feel stuck at any point. I would just say random things confidently and I guess it worked out lol. There was basically no math, but they did ask me to debug/explain a chunk of code.
After that, I had two more interviewers come in for my job fit interview. They were really nice and honestly made me really comfortable. I had one OOP question and 2 programming questions, basically leetcode easy/medium. I read a million glassdoor reviews and one of the questions I asked was put here so that was great.
Finally, I had my behavioral interview. Pretty generic questions, just be confident and make sure to stick to the STAR format that they described.
Overall everyone I met was super nice and smart and I'm really excited to be there this summer

Interview
Submitted my resume through a career fair at my campus. Called in for a final round interview on-campus less than 2 weeks later. One technical interview, one fit, and one case study. Fairly straightforward. Don’t get caught sleeping on the tech.

On campus interview for final round. Went smoothly and got to talk to well informed employees. Final interview consisted of behavioral, case, and technical, as expected. They all were very helpful throughout the process and did not try to throw any curve balls.
