I applied on Capitol One's website which was followed by an online assessment. Online assessment concentrated on behavioral aspect of the job and skills to render effective customer service. After around 9-10 days I received call from recruiter for an interview with the branch manager. Branch manager interview was pretty simple and smooth. She was pretty friendly and made me feel comfortable. I am not waiting for results and hoping I get through.

Manager had a "packet" of questions to ask. Questions felt unnatural and forced and made it very uncomfortable to answer. It is a very awkward way of interviewing someone you do not know ,to try and get to know them. Interviews are supposed to be a way of getting to the root of someone and how they can help your company/team grow. The questions should not come out of a universal packet and be read off a page. It is very in-personal and not a good look for a company who's whole outlook is being "real" and "connecting" with a customer and not just seeing them as a financial gain. What person would want to work for someone who has to read off a page to interview then be told that they will be coached on how to interact with customers. If you cannot formulate how to interview correctly how can you coach someone to talk to an employee. Its contradicting.

You basically go through a interview on the computer and if they like you, you'll get an in person interview and if they like you you'll get a call about when u start at what rate and the training process it was so fast
